Big Data in genome-scale technologies (“-omics”) and imaging requires new measures and resources for optimised data integration. We aim for an integrated, new and powerful research environment, where “omics” data provide highest resolution and data content. The additional integration of Imaging data on all scales including experimental data and simulations on molecular or cellular processes, responses, and interactions will complete the infrastructure and pool the research projects of all teams.
